Life Does Not Have to be THAT Tough!!! and Other Stuff:) 11:00 AM 11/2/2003 Life does NOT have to be THAT tough!!! and other stuff:) Life does not have to be that tough. a rather obvious statement, right? Well apparently not obvious enough for most people. From what I've observed in my 48 yrs on this planet, people continue to go out of their way time and again to make life as difficult and as painful as humanely possible. Personally I think it's all a little sick. Yes, I know, we all say or do things that we wish we had not, but there appears to be a proponderance of people who seem to enjoy making extremely poor decisions. painful decisions. I'm talking about decisions that can just really screw ones life up. sometimes for a lifetime. Decisions like doing drugs; drinking to excess on a constant basis; getting into fights[ this looks REALLY bad as you get into your 30's, 40's, & 50's ]; voting for the same stupid, corrupt, lying jerks over and over, [like someday they will actually do what they say they will do, right......}; misspending your money and then complaining you're broke; smoking for 30 yrs and then mad because you have cancer, so you sue the tobacco companies; acting like a 3 yr old all the time and then wondering why you don't have many friends; and the list goes on. I will discuss these and others at greater length in the following chapters. Please understand, this is not a book meant to tear anyone down and I'm not trying to pass judgement on anyone. It is simply about being open and honest and getting people to use their brain. I am writing this in hope that it will open the eyes of some and at least make others think. My inspiration for this book has come from a lifetime of watching friends and family, as well as others make life far harder than it EVER needed to be. this includes myslef:) I believe that there are a few simple rules that if people lived by, this world be a MUCH better place. Here they are. 1) be honest with yourself and others 2) just be nice 3) don't be afraid to love or to be loved 4) treat others as you would have them treat you 5) don't be afraid of success. no matter whether it's monetary, in relationships, or anything else 6) remember, God is in control, not you. and that is a good thing. A very good thing:) I sincerely hope that you enjoy the book. Chapter One: Money.......................... They say one of the main reasons for divorce is money and I must say that in talking with people it certainly seems to be true. One of the biggest problems for people when it comes to money is that they have no self control. If they see something on tv, they gotta have it. or if the neighbor has something bigger and better, they gotta match the neighbor. This is just a bit on the not smart side, as well as being immature. Also, people are constantly spending more than they make. this is not the road to financial freedom............ Look folks, all it takes is some self control. Learn to save a little or a lot, out of each check. Learn to be patient. Rome was not built in a day and neither will your savings account. Take the time and learn about stocks and bonds. High yield vs high growth. Here's a very simple rule to remember: Live BELOW your means. not within, not above, but BELOW. If you are able to do this little, but very important concept and adopt the strategy, you will be amazed by how much easier and less stressful your life will become. Also, remember this, money can NOT make you happy. All it does is to give you more options. options that you may already have and just be to blind to see. Be grateful for what you have and stop worrying about what you don't have. Concentrate on today and plan for tomorrow. It's not THAT tough. just use the brain................you know, that gray matter between your ears.:) Chapter Two: Relationships........................ This is a BIGGIE!!! This is the one area that most people just can't get right. Here's a quick and easy rule to remember. If someone doesn't want to treat you in a considerate, kind, and loving manner; then don't allow them in your life. Life is to "long" to put up with a bunch of crap and stupidity. I have no sympathy for those who choose to live with an alcoholic, drug addict, angry person, grouchy person, whiney person, or any other screwed up behavior. I cannot believe all the books telling people how to deal with a partner who has "behavioral" problems. Listen, the BEST way to deal with them is to simply kick their sorry rear-end out the door and divorce them. I realize that this is easier said than done, but the sooner you do it, the happier you'll be. If you don't give shit, then why take it? unless you just get off on their stupidity and abuse and the chaos that comes from living with someone like that. If that's the case, then stay with them. I am well aware that many people enjoy playing the role of nursemaid, mommy, and cheerleader. These people are often referred to as co-dependent. I just call them,"plain ole STUPID!!!"................ I will now speak briefly for those men [ of which I am one and proud of it:) ] who are kind, warm, loving, considerate and NICE !!!!!!!!!!!!! When one of you women meet us and fall in love, please remember, treat us in the same manner as we treat you. Also, DON'T over analyze us!!! We really are nice. and that is a good thing. A very good thing:) Here's something else that all you women might want to remember, when nice guys don't finish first, neither do you........think about that:) And men, the same thing goes for nice women. Be as kind to them, as they are to you. Life is so much more pleasant that way. Chapter 3........... Control, the ultimate illusion of all time. I'm sure you've all heard someone say something like," I just want to get control of my life." It's a nice enough thought, but is it realistic? Yes and no. Yes, in the sense that we all have control of how we decide to react to certain situations, but no, in the sense that we have very little if any control over what others do, not to mention things like the weather. For myself, I've never before felt as though I've had so much control in my life as I do now. why you ask and how did I get there? Well, I've given over, for the most part, my life to God. By doing so, I have found life to be far easier and MUCH less stressful. Kinda odd huh. By giving up control, I've gained control. The fact is, the more one "attempts" to gain control, the more chaotic their life becomes............ Chapter 4: Therapists and Therapy....................... It is my ever so humble opinion that therapy and therapists are wayyy over rated. Far more often than not a good friend or family member can help more than a so-called professional. and it's cheaper:) Plus, your family and friends will tend to be more honest:) But if you insist on wasting your money, by all means, go to a regular therapist. Chapter 5: Drugs, Alcohol, Being Mentally, Physically or Verbally Abusive............... Let me get right to the point. If anyone "thinks" that they can abuse alcohol, drugs, or people, or have an addiction like gambling and that it's not going to totally screw up their life, then they DO need counseling. All you're doing is making life way tougher than it need be. but hey, whatever turns you on.......... Chapter 6: Mind Games and Relationships..................... I continue to be amazed at the large number of people who enjoy playing "mind games" in their relationships. I have always felt that if I wanted to play games, that I could play basketball, football, chess, checkers, cards, and well, you get the point. I've held firm to the belief that "mind games" were the biggest waste of time and one of the best ways to kill a great relationship. Mind games are a way for a person to gain "control" over the other. talk about dumb......... For anyone to want to control the person that they "supposedly" love and care soooooo much for, I think is sick and pathetic. Now I understand that we need to control those people who are a danger to society, but to want control over those we love....................that's just not "healthy" or smart. just my opinion. Chapter 7: Gays......................... Talk about one of them there "hot topics":))))) Personally I wish there were more gay men, because then that would make more women available for me:) As for the attractive lesbians; bummer dude....... Seriously now...............For those of you who firmly believe that "true" gays are committing a sin, I would like for you to think about a few things. 1) Is God all knowing? I believe He is. 2) Is God infallible? Well, He did make the mosquito, but hey, we're all entitled to one mistake. So, therefore, The Big Guy is basically error free. 3) Do you understand genetics? I understand genetics well enough to know that they determine eye and hair color, height, skin color, and gender, as well a whole host of other stuff. Here's my point. I could care less what someones sexual preference is. For one, I trust that God knows what He's doing. For another, I understand the role that genetics plays. It's BIG. why? Because God determined it to be so. That may not be good enough for you, but it's good enough for me. The gays who are "genetically" gay, are the ones I call "true" gays. I would like to discuss briefly the role that drugs, alcohol, and rape play in regards to homosexuality today. I have recently spent a 1 1/2 yrs working at a college apartment complex and 2 yrs working with "troubled" teenagers. Kids as young as 9 and 10 yrs of age are getting drunk and drugged up and committing acts of sex and violence that they would otherwise never even think about doing. Also, we have an increasing number of adult sex offenders who are "perpping" on young kids. talk about messing a kids mind up big time..................What I'm trying to say is this. Once a kid has performed a homosexual act even one time, whether it be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or by way of rape, the kids life has been forever altered. If you think that this is false, then I would suggest that you get out there and work with some young kids who have been perpped on. try working with a kid who's been perpped on by his dad. there's a good time for you. NOT!!! In regards to gays and "special laws"; I consider it all to be a bunch of crap. period. As far as gays being able to marry??? People are constantly saying that gays will make a joke of marriage. Give me a break! Elizabeth Taylor, Mickey Rooney, Larry King, and millions of other people have already beat them to the punch. For longer than I've been alive, people have been getting married multiple times, cheating like a dog on their spouse, as well as committing other rotten acts on their spouses. The fact is, gays could not possibly make a bigger joke of marriage than it already is. As for gays and having the same insurance as a heterosexual couple, that is up to the company. Other than God, change is the one constant that you can always count on. There is an excellent book out called,"Who Moved My Cheese", by Spencer Johnson & Kenneth H. Blanchard. It takes about 30 minutes to read and I highly reccommend it. Oftentimes we get into a rut and we get comfortable being there. So comfortable, that we never want things to change, but low'inbehold, one fine day something happens to upset the applecart. Our world suddenly gets turned upside down and we're left wondering what to do. It can be a car accident, a divorce, an illness, or any number of other things. I know that I have had many unexpected things happen in my life. some good, some not so good. The good are always easy to handle, but the bad are not. Remember this. We cannot always control what happens to us, but we can control how we react to a particular situation. We are the ones who determine whether to turn it into a positive or a negative. I have a found that there is a silver lining in everything that happens. It's up to each one of us to find it. no one else. Attitude DOES matter!!! Here's something that I heard the other night and I think it good to remember. Pain is only temporary, no matter how long it lasts:) having a sense of humor helps tremendously Also, remember this, EVERYTHING changes. Sooner or later. sometimes sooner; sometimes later Chapter 9: Polygraphs.............. For starters, polygraphs of today are WAY different and FAR MORE accurate than those of 20 yrs ago. Which, oh by the way, is the reason why lawyers do not want them in the court room. It's also the reason why the politicians crapped in their drawers when one of their own made the comment that THEY should all have to take a polygraph. Think about it, even the politicians, as dumb as they are,[and Lord knows they ARE dumb and CORRUPT], even they know that they would not be able to get their lies past a polygraph. The technology is simply to far advanced even for such prolific liers like bill and hillary clinton. Also, the lawyers realize that if people ever caught on as to how accurate they are, that polys would be allowed in the courtroom as evidence and the lawyers ability to lie to and decieve a jury would be greatly lessened. Thusly bringing their "game" to an end, as well as the ability for them to make millions of dollars. which couldn't happen soon enough as far as I'm concerned..................finding out whodunnit, does not have to be THAT tough!!! not these days. One more thing. After 2 yrs of working in the "system", I never heard once from ANY of the kids that the polygraph was wrong. Even the kids were at times surprised by the accuracy of the polygraphs. Chapter 10: Is Being Stupid Really Cool....................... OK, Let's get something straight right now. Being stupid is NOT and NEVER has been cool !!! After working with "troubled" youth for 2 yrs, I can tell you that there is a growing movement in this country to be stupid. If you think I'm kidding, take a good look at the number of gangs in your area. Consider that getting a passing grade is easier than ever before. Take a look at what passes for entertainment on tv. Take a look at the message boards on the internet. Try listening to some of the music by the rap "artists". Which by the way is bought by the kids in the gangs as well wannabe gang bangers. Also, take a look at some of the so-called adults. People who have smoked for 30 yrs and then get cancer are suing the tobacco companies. Hell, I knew when I was 10 yrs old that you got cancer from smoking! We have little signs on coffee machines that tell us to be careful, "liquid may be hot". I was stunned the first time I saw a sign like this. what an insult to human intelligence. even my cats know that coffee is hot:) And to top it all off, this country is home to some of the DUMBEST psuedo-intellectuals you can imagine. These people can talk about various subjects for hrs and NEVER make a lick of sense. I don't care if the subject is the environment, crime, education, taxes, or social security. They'll talk for hrs and not say one single worthwhile thing. I'm talking about people like the politicians, lawyers, liberal actors, and the ACLU. There are other groups that are "homes" for these idiots, but these are the main ones. I'll admit that I am not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I'm a far cry from the dullest. why? Because I work at being "informed" and I do the best I can to NOT make life hard for myself. I figure life is hard enough, I don't need to make it worse for myself or anyone else. Chapter 11: Our Forrests............. For one, the environmentalists REALLY need to take a hike. and I don't mean a nature hike................ Year after year, we have major fires because the environmentalists block any sort of harvesting of the trees. Not to mention any kind of thinning of the brush. The fire that just happened out in California is a great example of what happens when the environmentalists get their way. They have a few good points, but damn few. Basically they're just a group of fanatics who make little or NO sense. We need to stop listening to these people and not allow them to have their way in court. There are people out there who are very good at managing the forrests and we need to let them do their job. The logging companies are well aware that clear cutting can no longer happen and that they need to reseed where they cut. Otherwise they would be out of business rather quickly. BTW, we have more trees now than we've ever had. Also, because of the stupid laws in this country, they are doing clear cutting in South America which is having an affect on worldwide climate, not to mention destroying their ecosystem down there. Chapter 12: The Salaries of CEO's and Athletes............ NO ONE can tell me that there are not at least 50-100 people, if not more, within every major company who couldn't do an excellent job of running that company and would be happy as all hell to do it for a million dollars. As for the athletes, show me JUST one person who would rather flip burgers, sell shoes, or work on a factory line as opposed to making a million dollars playing his sport. Listen folks, the fact is, the salaries for these people are outrageous.. It's time to get real. I am definitely in favor of our capitalistic system, but some things are WAY out of whack and they need to be brought back into line. All I want to see is some sort of common sense when it comes to what these people make. Especially the CEO's of publicly traded companies. These people have no more on the line than does the janitor. Yes, they may have and I would hope that they do have more of a business mind than the janitor, but that does not warrant the lofty salaries that so many CEO's are getting. Perhaps a system of the highest paid employee can make no more than 10 times the amount of the lowest paid employee...................just a thought. Chapter 13: The "system"......................................... The "system" I am talking about is that part of the government that takes care of "troubled youth". In a word, the system STINKS!!! and here's why: 1) The system does not really change the behavior of most of the kids for the better. 2) The kids are not "made" to learn. educationally speaking. 3) The system puts the kids back into the very same atmosphere from which they got into trouble. They go back into the same home and the same school with the same screwed up friends and gang members. 4) There is a VERY large number of messed-up adults working in the system, with kids. These so-called adults are taking as many if not more drugs than the kids are taking. Plus the behavior of these so-called adults is atrocious. Needless to say they are terrible role models for the kids. I saw this first hand when I worked in the system. it was aggravating to say the least................. 5) There is a very high number of people working in the system who suffer from job burnout. This type of work is extremely stressful and doesn't pay much. All of the above things combine to make it difficult for a kid to succeed once they get out of the system. The rate of recitivism is high. like about 80% high........... My solution is this. Put the kids into a miltary school where they must learn to read, write, do math, learn computers, and learn to work a trade. They would also be made to participate in at least one sport, learn at least one musical instrument, and learn at least one other language. They would be given until the age of 21 to prove that they could be an asset to society. If they refused to do so, then they would be put into an adult "reform" prison. My guess, is that the vast majority would get their act together and get a decent education by the time they were 18 and not wait until 21. This would also teach the kids back home to NOT mess up. They would soon realize that they too would be likely candidates to be leaving home on a permanent basis if they did not learn to behave and go to school. These kids are really not as dumb as you might think. they're just lazy and enjoy being "bad". They just need to learn a different way of life. It's a simple solution and not THAT tough to figure out. Chapter 14: Sources of Energy..................... We have WIND, SUN, and WATER. and yes we have oil and gas and I have no problem with using our resourses. However, when it comes to wind, sun, and water......................and we can also start to grow INDUSTRIAL HEMP......:) We don't have to dig them up or drill for them and they are always there. so why haven't we used them more than we do???? For one, we learned to develop oil and gas long before we learned how to use water, sun, and wind for energy. At least on a commercial basis. The oil companies have become extremely powerful to say the least and they give millions of dollars to the politicians every year to keep things status quo. Obviously that needs to change, but before it can change, we need to elect some decent and honest people to office. BTW, the technology is available to use wind, sun, and water for commercial use. In my ever so humble opinion, the oil companies could be persuaded to develop these resourses if they knew that this country would one day, soon, stop using oil and gas. The last thing they want to see is the demise of their companies. These companies have plenty of money to develop these resourses and be used cheaply and still be profitable for themselves. but we need politicians with the "guts and brains" to do the right things....................it could happen:)	Chapter 18: The Far Left and the Far Right....................aka liberals and ultra conservatives................. For years now, a battle has raged between the far left and the far right. The far left would like to tax as much of our money as possible because they think they know how to spend it better than we do. hmmmmmmmm The far right would like to legislate/control our sex lives and anything else having to do with morality because they feel as though they know best. hmmmmmmmmm The far left would like to see this country/business, basically run by the government. The far right sees most, if not all things in terms of black and white. not a whole lot of middle ground. in other words, not much room for compromise. The far left say that there is no right or wrong, unless you happen to disagree with them, in which case, you're just flat ass wrong................. Both groups talk about how accepting they are of other races and religions and ideas, but the truth is, the far right is wayyyyyy more accepting of all three. In fact, I have found that behind closed doors that the far left are some of the biggest racists and egotistical jerks on the face of this earth. The far right base their beliefs on the bible and the constitution. The far left base their beliefs on, well, whatever happens to feel good to them at that moment. Both groups tend to be extremely narrow minded. Both groups are deathly afraid of being wrong. on any issue. why? Because they're afraid that if they can be proven wrong on one issue, then they may be able to be proven wrong on another. and that is simply unacceptable. The far left has a "win at any cost" attitude. They are more than willing to destroy whatever and whoever they have to in order to win. The far right will work hard to win, but it must [usually anyway] be done legal and above board. or at least have that appearance. The far left could care less how scummy their candidate is. As long as they say the right thing and act like they will do what they say, the far left will back them all the way. The far right demand that their candidate be decent and honest. Once the person shows themselves to be corrupt or otherwise immoral, the far right will no longer back them. This is why it is so much tougher for a republican to be corrupt. They have got to be smarter and smoother about what they do. obviously they've learned how to do it.......... The fact of the matter is this; if both groups ever get their way, we will have so much legislation and so many laws that we won't be able to spit without going to prison or paying a tax. Chapter 19: AIDS...................... A few years ago I got to know a gay man who gave me cart blanche in asking him any qestion I wanted about being gay. One of the issues we discussed was AIDS. I was working at a complex where over 640 college students lived. I had spoken with several kids who informed me that the number of people who were HIV positive was much higher than the government was saying. One student informed me that his high school class was tested and showed to be 40% HIV positive. Another student stated that the fraternities of the university where she had been at before had volunteered to be tested and they all showed to be 40-50% HIV positive. The gay man, who worked as a volunteer at an AIDS center there in town, told me that yes, the rate of people, male and female alike,who tested HIV positive, was much higher than the government was saying. He also stated that it is much easier to get than the public was being led to believe. Here's the "real" truth about AIDS. at least this is what I've been able to find out from people who are willing to be open and honest. 1) The number of people who have AIDS and are HIV positive is wayyyyyyyy higher than we have been told. 2) It is wayyyyyyyy easier to become HIV positive than we have been told. 3) and, there is at least one strain of AIDS which is airborn. As to how and where AIDS got started is still a mystery to me. There's been so many theories and propaganda put out over the years that it's difficult to filter through it all. maybe you know. My solution? I'm not sure that there is a reasonable solution any longer, except this. The world has got to stop being so promiscuous and stupid. It ought to be obvious by now that a condom is NOT going to stop you from getting AIDS. For those of you who have AIDS or are HIV positive; stop thinking that it's so damn funny to give the disease to others. If you want to have sex, then find another person who has AIDS already. OK. Also, for those of you who think it's a good time to try and have sex with as many people as you can, consider this, there are more diseases out there that can kill than just AIDS. not to mention, making your life a living hell.............. Remember, make good decisions, and life won't be THAT tough:) Chapter 20: The True Heroes.................... 1) Our Military People 2) Our Police 3) Our Teachers 4) Our Firemen 5) Rush Limbaugh If it were not for the men and women in our military and our police force, we would not have the freedom and safety that we enjoy today. They put their lives on the line for this nation and its people everyday. They are grossly underpaid and recieve little if any thanks for the job they do. I am well aware that there are crooked law enforcement people, but the vast majority are decent, hardworking folk and we owe them a HUGE debt of gratitude. The teachers of this country have been made fun of for years and they too have been grossly underpaid. Years ago, the conditions in which they taught were not so bad, but in the last 10-15 years conditions have become down right dangerous. They are forced to deal with gang members, outrageously behaved parents, kids that are nothing but rotten brats who when they don't get their way feel the right to curse, spit, hit, and even shoot the teacher. In spite of all this, they do an excellent job of teaching our young people who "want" to learn. Our firemen, as witnessed on 9/11, are also one of America's True Heroes. The people in this profession are asked on a daily basis to risk their lives to save someones property and/or life. I am truly in awe of the braveness of the people in the armed forces, police, and our fire departments. I thank you all. And then there was Rush:) I know, I know, I can hear you guys out there saying, HUH???, why Rush? Here's why. Rush was the first person with enough guts and talent, to stand up and speak the truth in a way that the average person could understand. He not only put his career on the line, but his life as well. Whether he is willing to admit it or not, he said things about this government, as well as people such as jesse jackson and the clinton's, that could easily have gotten him killed. He never backed down when things got hot. If things got hot, he simply made them a little hotter. He had the courage to take on the women of the NOW , National Organization for Women, and showed them to be the two-faced idiots that they are. I would personally like to thank Rush for what he's done for me. Until I began listening to him, I had always thought that "nice" people should be quiet, even when they know that others are wrong and they are right. But Rush taught me different. Because of him, I learned that as long as I do my homework and know what I'm talking about, that it is OK to stand up and speak out. that it's ok to be right and to say it loudly and proudly. And there's one other major thing that Rush has beaten into my head and that is this. If you want to know [politically speaking], why something happens the way it does, it's because of "money and power". And believe me, truer words have never been spoken.
Chapter 15: The Decriminalization of Drugs for Adults.......................... Here's another subject that'll steam up a few people:))) To start with, let's mention the fact that the "business" of stopping the drug trade in this country and abroad is a multi-billion dollar business. There are tens of thousands of people employed by the government to stop the flow of drugs and for the most part, these are all decent paying jobs. Especially if we look at those people at the top of the food chain. And of course there are those people who are making a "little extra" on the side............the occasional dirty judge, dirty cop, and let's not forget about the dirty POLITICIANS. That's right, the politicians. I wonder how many little brown bags are left on the door steps of the local politician. Collectively speaking, I'm guessing that these people make many millions every year in the form of "donations" from the drug organizations around the country. I was told years ago by someone "in the know" that the drug world donated millions every year to the politicians in order to keep drugs illegal. You see, they knew that if drugs were ever made legal for adults that their livelyhood was gone. Here's what I propose: 1) Legalize ALL drugs for people 18 and over. 2) Anyone caught selling or giving drugs to anyone 17 and under would go to prison for a minimum of 20 yrs. 3) Anyone caught driving while drunk or under the influence of any drug would go to jail for 3 days. Each time caught thereafter, the time in jail would double. Your employer can fire you if they choose and you have no recourse. I firmly believe that anyone who desires to destroy their life, has the right to do so. as an adult. The kids we need to do everything we can to protect and to help guide them into adulthood. As for the adults who wish to destroy themselves; LET THEM!!! If the day comes that they decide to pull their head out from where the sun don't shine, then we can help them. Also, hemp has a hundred and one uses. It's probably one of the most versatile crops that exist. And I'm not talking about the "potent" version. There is an "impotent" version which from what I understand , pot growers do NOT want to see grown at all. Their fear is that the impotent version will mix with their "stuff" and ruin it. ahhhhhhhhhh wouldn't that be toooooo bad:))))) Come on folks, this idea of decriminalizing drugs for adults is not THAT tough. You just have to be able to see past the b.s. of those who stand to profit by keeping it illegal. Chapter 16: Abortion................. Here's a topic that not to many people care to tackle:) can't imagine why................. Let's start by asking the question; "Is abortion murder?" If you have any desire at all to be "intellectually honest", your answer would have to be, yes, it is murder. The next 25 cent question would be,"Is it enforceable, realistically speaking?" Once again, if you're being honest, then your answer would be, no, it's not "really" enforceable. The only way that I can think of that we could actually know if a woman is having an abortion, would be to put a camera in the vagina of every woman. Once again, NOT realistic. Look folks, here's how I feel about abortion. It's a crime which is simply not enforceable. If a woman wants to abort her child, then let her. She's the one who has to live with it and she's the one who will face God. This is one of those areas of life that I am willing to put on a shelf and let God deal with it. I believe He can do a far better job than we can. And YES, the parents of young girls need to be informed if their daughter is having an abortion. Chapter 17: Terrorism................ For those of you who actually believe that the "core" group of these terrorist organizations have any desire to make the world better in any way, shape, or form, think again. The fact is, the "core" group of all these organizations care only for their own power and truly enjoy creating chaos and destruction wherever they can. They are an extremely sick and deranged group of people. I'm well aware that as you fan out from the core of these terrorist groups, that many of the members of these groups firmly believe that they are fighting for a just cause. These people have simply been fed a line of crap and they have chosen to believe that the core group is doing what is in the best interest of mankind. If you stop and think about it, it is just like what goes on in this country in regards with the democrat and republican parties. The people at the center of power of each party, work very hard to make the people of this nation think that they have the peoples best interest at heart, when in fact they could, for the most part, care less about anything except getting more money and staying in power. Here's the bottomline of these terrorist groups. We have a large number of people in the world today who have nothing better to do than to create chaos and hate. Some of them have access to large amounts of money, which in turn gives them the ability to create a tremendous amount of damage wherever they choose. and it's extremely difficult to stop them. We could be the kindest and most loving nation on earth and they would still blow things up and murder our people. Terrorists simply don't need a good reason to do what they do. They just enjoy killing and creating chaos and fear. that's what they live for....................pathetic as it is............	Chapter 22: Why Did We go into Iraq........................ Remember one of the things I said that Rush had taught me years ago about money and power???? I have no doubt that the reason that we went into Iraq is that Bin Laden attacked "the" country for the truly wealthy people of the world to put their money. Yes, I'm well aware that the wealthy have their money scattered around the world, but it is the United States that keeps it all safe and sound. When he attacked the U.S. and the monetary system, he threatened not only the money of those in the U.S., but all those around the world and that was simply not acceptable. Bush and his administration had no choice but to do what they did. The wealthy of the world were not about to allow their money and power to be messed with. If you recall, when clinton was president, Bin Laden attacked in several other regions of the world and even attacked a U.S. ship, but the mistake was in attacking the U.S. directly. bad move................ I know that there are a whole lot of people who think we went into Iraq for their oil. maybe, but I don't think so. If all we wanted was oil, we could drill up in Alaska or off the coast of Georgia where I believe, if I heard right, there is enough reserves for about a hundred years or more. We certainly don't need to invade a country for their oil. If Saddam had not given refuge to Bin Laden and his group of terrorists, we might never have attacked Iraq. There were simply too many connections between the two of them. Once again, if you want to know the "why" about something political, remember, MONEY and POWER. BTW, I am not totally trusting of George Bush's motives................ Chapter 23: The United Nations.................... On the whole, I believe that this body of people are as dumb and corrupt as the U.S. Congress. They have become nothing but a pathetic joke and they serve as window dressing only, for the major powers. People have talked about putting the UN in China or Russia, but there is simply NO WAY that China or Russia care to have that many spies on their soil:) Not to mention the fact that it costs a LOT of money to maintain the building and the U.S. flips the bill for that. so forget about the UN ever going to China or Russia. My solution for the UN? Scrap it....................or at least drastically revise it as to make it an honest institution. Chapter 24: What About Militia Groups....................... Yes, there are a few "loose nuts" within the ranks of the miltia groups, but the vast majority are honest, clear thinking, very informed, hard working people, whose only desire, politically speaking, is to see an honest government in the U.S.. that's it. that's all they want to see. No, I do not belong to a militia group and I never have, but I have known several people who have and they are good people. The truth is, if everyone was as politically informed as these people are, this government would be forced to become honest and decent. what a concept.............. Chapter 25: So Who Did Win the Election................... Well, obviously Bush won the electoral college votes, but as to who won the popular vote; that I'm afraid we'll never know. why you ask? Because we have no way of knowing how many "dead" people voted or how many cats and dogs and other animals voted.:) If you're wondering how animals vote, it's because their owners have figured out how to register them and vote for them. mail in ballot I imagine. As for the dead people who come back to life, that's where the mafia come in. They figured out back in the 50's how to do that and the people who control the counting of the votes, have been doing it ever since. pretty nifty huh?????????
